Local Attractions

Our villages along East Yorkshire and inland hold annual FREE events from music festivals, dog shows, Halloween, Christmas, scarecrow festivals, finding painted rocks hidden along Withernsea’s prom and Valley Gardens, and numerous other fun and FREE stuff to do.

Withernsea’s claim to fame is you’ll see Britain Got Talent’s Ruby Red dancers performing at The Seasiders, by Ellis Cafe, during seasonal occasions.

1950’s Hollywood star Kay Kendall (married to My Fair Lady Hollywood star Rex Harrison) was born in Withernsea. Inside Withernsea Lighthouse is a memorial to Kay which includes film clips.
